Hear the rollicking music of Respighi’s La Boutique Fantastique (The Magic Toy Shop) and the jazzy sounds of William Grant Still’s Symphony No. 2. Still’s symphony spins melodies that are sophisticated and slick, yet emotionally powerful. As a pre-Thanksgiving tradition, Foothills asks their audience to help Greer Community Ministries replenish their food pantry for needy families by donating canned goods at this performance.

Christmas Pops Concert & Toys for Tots Drive - December 14, 7:00 pm

Fall Orchestral Concert - November 2, 7:00 pm - Riverside Baptist Church

Fairview Baptist Church

1300 Locust Hill Rd, Greer, 29650

NOTE: Our Christmas Pops Concert venue has changed. It will NOT be at Riverside Church. We have moved to a larger venue to accommodate the SRO audience we have had at recent Christmas Pops concerts. Of course there will be seasonal favorites but, at a Christmas Pops Concert, you never can tell what else will happen or what exciting guests will show up. The US Marine Corps Toys for Tots will be in attendance. Please bring a new toy to tonight's concert to help a child enjoy Christmas this year. Join us at the reception following the concert and get to know the musicians over food and conversation. Concert, reception and parking are all absolutely Free.

Family Orchestral Concert - February 8, 6:00 PM

Riverside Baptist Church

1249 S Suber Rd, Greer, SC 29650

Designed for all ages, this symphony concert features classical favorites, musical surprises and audience interaction. Experience fun classics like “Mars” from “The Planets” and “In the Hall of the Mountain King.” Bring the whole family or just come with your inner child. NOTE: earlier start time -  6:00pm.

The Music Club of Greenville will join us in the lobby where you can learn how they collect and refurbish instruments to give to deserving students as well as their other music student and teacher support services. Want to recycle an instrument to a deserving student? Bring it to the concert or let the representatives know.

Instrument Petting Zoo - Saturday May 3, 2025 6:00 - 7:00 pm (before the Pops Concert)

Riverside Baptist Church

1249 S Suber Rd, Greer, SC 29650

Experience the raw emotional power of Rachmaninoff’s masterpiece, Symphony No. 2 as Foothills performs this sweeping romantic symphony. You’ll recognize the third movement theme as the basis of Eric Carmen’s top forties hit, Never Gonna Fall in Love Again, and the jolly, raucous finale will bring down the house. More than 200 films and TV soundtracks have featured the works of Rachmaninoff including the closing scene of 2014 Oscar best picture “Birdman” which also uses the third movement theme.

Join us at the reception following the concert and get to know the musicians over food and conversation. Concert, reception and parking are all Free.

Loaves and Fishes will be in the lobby. Learn how they rescue surplus food and redistribute it, free of charge. Bring non-perishable food donations to the concert which will be delivered to agencies that make up Greenville’s food security network.
